INTERWOVEN: VISIONS ACROSS CULTURES & GOLDEN PALETTE AWARD™ Exhibit and Awarding Ceremony Celebrates Artistic Excellence, Cultural Exchange, and Creative Collaboration

TAYABAS, QUEZON, PHILIPPINES — September 20, 2026 — The vibrant artistic and cultural community of Quezon gathered at Hunta Café, Tayabas, Quezon Province, for “INTERWOVEN: Visions Across Cultures&Golden Palette Award™”, an art exhibition and awarding ceremony celebrating creativity, cultural diversity, artistic excellence, and collaboration.

Held at 1:00 PM on September 20, 2026, the event brought together 59 participating artists and creative contributors from different backgrounds and artistic communities. The gathering demonstrated how art can transcend geographical and cultural boundaries and create meaningful connections among people.

The event was organized by Artista de Colores and Art Heals by Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo – MeraCreative Art Studio™, with the Golden Palette Award™ presented by Creative Beacons International Group.

ART AS A BRIDGE ACROSS CULTURES

The concept of Interwoven reflects the belief that every artist carries a unique story, perspective, culture, and creative language. When these individual expressions come together, they form a larger artistic tapestry—one that celebrates both diversity and shared humanity.

The exhibition provided a platform for artists to present their works while connecting with fellow creatives, cultural advocates, art organizations, and members of the community.

The event also highlighted the importance of creating opportunities where artists can collaborate, learn from one another, and contribute to a stronger and more interconnected creative community.

OPENING CEREMONY

The program was hosted by Cyra Marielle Jael and formally opened with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, marking the official opening of Interwoven: Visions Across Cultures.

The Opening Prayer was led by Kenneth Macatangay, Vice President of Artista de Colores.

The opening remarks were delivered by the two principal organizers:

The workshop featured a creative demonstration, live product presentation, and hands-on artistic experience designed to introduce artists and creatives to different painting materials, decorative finishes, textures, and creative techniques.

2026 SINCLAIR NATIONAL ART COMPETITION

The Sinclair roadshow also introduced the 2026 Sinclair National Art Competition (SNAC), a nationwide art competition that provides Filipino creatives with a platform to showcase their talent and explore new artistic possibilities.

The 2026 theme, “Creating Horizons for the New Generation,” encourages artists to explore new techniques and materials, move beyond familiar approaches, and continue developing their individual artistic identities.

Through its workshops and provincial roadshows, Sinclair seeks to bring creative products and artistic experiences closer to local art communities while encouraging artists to:

CLOSING MESSAGE

The formal program concluded with closing remarks from Teena Maaliw Octaviano, Founder of Women in Art, who emphasized the importance of continuing to build supportive spaces and opportunities for artists and creatives.

The event then continued through the Sinclair workshop, allowing participants to conclude the celebration through hands-on exploration and creative engagement.

A TAPESTRY OF CREATIVITY

Interwoven: Visions Across Cultures demonstrated that art can serve as a powerful meeting place for different people, perspectives, cultures, and creative traditions.

From the exhibition of artworks and the recognition of artists through the Golden Palette Award™, to the messages of cultural and community leaders and the hands-on Sinclair workshop, the event created a multifaceted celebration of creativity.
