Painter, calligrapher, and watercolorist Ieva Liaugaudaitė, a prominent contemporary Lithuanian artist, visited the Vilnius Academy of Arts studio in March and April 2025 at the Cite Internationale des arts in Paris, an international art residency celebrating its 60th anniversary. This residency is among the most renowned and largest international art residencies globally. Its uniqueness stems from its location in the oldest and most artistic quarter of Le Marais, which is closely connected to the most famous museums and art galleries. During her time at the residency, the artist extensively explores calligraphy, watercolor, and Parisian lyrical abstraction.
