Initially focused on landscape painting, he has recently transitioned to the realm of Cubism. Dodie holds the belief that art plays an essential role in our lives, serving as a medium for self-expression and the conveyance of profound emotions.
When observing his Cubist works, one can perceive the vibrant world through Dodie's eyes, as he skillfully represents the structure of objects in his paintings without adhering to conventional methods such as perspective or shading. In line with the principles of Cubism, he strives to depict subjects in their true essence, rather than merely their outward appearances. Inlayo mentions that he switched his art style from landscape into Cubism for he wants to keep up with the trend and flow of modern art.
