The majestic halls of the Quezon Provincial Capitol came alive with color and emotion as “LIKHANG LAHI”, a collective art exhibition, opened on October 13, 2025 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, Lucena City.


Graced by Hon. Vice Governor Anacleto “Third” Alcala and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Quezon Province, the exhibit marks a vibrant tribute to the artistic spirit and cultural identity of the Filipino people.

✨ A Canvas of Culture and Identity


Curated by Gabriel Alphonse Diaz and Russel Santos, Likhang Lahi celebrates artistic expressions deeply rooted in Filipino culture and heritage.


Through a spectrum of mediums — from painting and mixed media to abstract and modern forms — the artists explore stories of ancestry, faith, identity, and innovation. Each piece reflects a fragment of the Filipino soul: colorful, courageous, and endlessly creative.

Each artist brings forth a unique interpretation of Filipino identity — from traditional motifs and native symbols to modern reimaginings that reflect today’s dynamic culture.

🤝 A Collective Vision for Culture and Creativity

Organized by the Kamaylayan Artists Initiative of Lucena and ARTISTA DE COLORES, in partnership with the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Quezon, Likhang Lahi exemplifies collaboration between artists and public institutions in preserving the Filipino artistic legacy.

The exhibit not only celebrates art but also promotes community engagement, cultural preservation, and creative education, inspiring both emerging and established artists to continue their journeys of expression.
