35 Artists from 10 Countries Showcase Artworks on War and Peace A vibrant exhibition featuring 35 artists from 10 different countries recently took place at Swaraj Vithika, highlighting the powerful theme of War and Peace. The participating artists hailed from India, the United States, Canada, Scotland, Georgia, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Singapore, Portugal, England, and South Korea, presenting a total of 46 captivating artworks. The pieces on display celebrated the valor of soldiers while also emphasizing the importance of peace. Among the artists, 12 were local talents from Bhopal. Notably, Lavina Kumar, the wife of Brigadier Rajat Kumar, showcased her artwork, which beautifully captured the themes of courage, struggle, and the strength of women, drawing inspiration from the brave women involved in Operation Sindoor.

The exhibition, held at Swaraj Bhavan on Sunday, paid tribute to Operation Sindoor—a mission that exemplifies the unwavering spirit of Indian soldiers dedicated to protecting the honor of their sisters, daughters, and mothers, as Lavina Kumar passionately expressed.

Organized by Art for Cause and the Sudarshan Chakra Core Unit Bhopal, this three-day exhibition centered around Operation Sindoor concluded on a high note. Faisal Mateen, the founder of Art for Cause, shared that this was the group's second offline painting exhibition in Bhopal, featuring works from artists around the globe. While they received entries from Turkey and Azerbaijan, those submissions were not accepted due to the countries' support for Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Mateen emphasized that local artists were given priority in this exhibition. To engage the community further, a painting competition on the theme of bravery was held for school and college students on the final day of the exhibition, encouraging young talents to express their interpretations of courage through art.
