Artist Ramutė Paulikaitė resides and creates her works in the picturesque town of Skuodas, Lithuania, a location that has undoubtedly influenced her artistic journey. R. Paulikaitė began her formal education at Pr. Žadeikis Gymnasium in Skuodas, where her passion for the arts began to take shape. Following her high school education, she pursued higher studies and in 1999, she graduated from Telšiai Higher School of Applied Arts, which is now recognized as a branch of the esteemed Lithuanian Academy of Arts. During her time there, she specialized in knitwear, focusing on artistic construction and modeling, which laid the foundation for her innovative approach to textile art.


Upon completing her studies, in the same year of 1999, she embarked on her professional career as an art and technology teacher at Aleksandrijas Primary School. In this role, she not only imparted knowledge but also nurtured creativity among her students, fostering a new generation of artists. Additionally, she took on the responsibility of leading a group, where she guided young minds in exploring various artistic mediums and techniques, encouraging them to express themselves through their creativity.


Throughout her career, R. Paulikaitė has been proactive in sharing her artistic vision with the public. She has organized numerous personal exhibitions across Lithuania, showcasing her unique works that often reflect her deep connection to her cultural roots and the natural world surrounding her. Since the year 2000, she has expanded her horizons by participating in international projects that have taken her to diverse countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, and India, among others. These experiences have enriched her artistic practice, allowing her to incorporate a variety of influences and techniques into her work.


In 2007, she furthered her education by graduating from Šiauliai University of Art and Design, where she earned a bachelor's degree along with a teaching qualification. This academic achievement not only enhanced her credentials but also solidified her commitment to education and mentorship within the arts. R. Paulikaitė dedicated a significant portion of her life to the education of both young people and adults at the King Mindaugas Vocational Training Center in Kaunas. Her role there involved not just teaching but also inspiring her students to pursue their artistic passions and develop their skills in various forms of art.

Through her multifaceted career as an artist, educator, and mentor, Ramutė Paulikaitė continues to make a meaningful impact in the Lithuanian art scene, fostering creativity and artistic expression in her community and beyond.
